619 Squadron - 19 juillet 1944 - Villers-Saint-Genest

Le quadrimoteur est en flammes lorsqu'il s'écrase sur le territoire du village de Villers-Saint-Genest dans le sud du département de l'Oise, à 8 kilomètres à l'Est de Nanteuil-le-Haudouin.

L'appareil, brûlant furieusement, s'est fendu en deux et une partie a explosé, provoquant sa désintégration complète. Quatre corps ont été récupérés, mais trois n'ont pas été retrouvés.
